बकौल इनके ये और कुछ भी हो सकता है मुसलमान नहीं। इन्हें नहीं मालूम कुछ लोग हिन्दू मुसलमान नहीं सच्चे इंसान होते हैं। राष्ट्रीय संपत्ति बन जाते हैं अपने जीवन काल में ही मोहम्मद रफ़ी साहब ,संगीतकार नौशाद अली साहब की तरह। और अब तलत अज़ीज़ साहब की मानिंद हमारे सर्वकालिक अज़ीमतर रहे पूर्व राष्ट्रपति एपीजे अब्दुल कलाम साहब की तरह।  अमीर  खुसरो साहब जी  गाते हैं :

Who is 'Khan Sir'? Why has he been trending on social media?

On Wednesday, the man himself shared a new video on his channel, where he issued a full clarification about his name and on the comments he had made earlier.

A person by the name of 'Khan Sir' has been trending on social media for the past few days.

Without any context, it is rather difficult to explain the story of a person who is well known in some education circles but remains a random name in the vast ocean of social media.

Khan Sir, as he is called by his followers, teaches General Studies on his YouTube channel named 'Khan GS Research Center. He has a niche following but his total subscriber base has already crossed the 92 lakh mark.

His unique teaching style, which is peppered with east Indian elements and colloquialism, is a huge hit among fans and followers.

On April 24, he had shared a video on France-Pakistan relations, where he mentioned at the mass protests that took place in Pakistan between April 11-20 were for the expulsion of the French ambassador and to boycott the use of French gods.

As the video quickly went viral, certain remarks in it irked some netizens and #ReportonKhanSir started trending on Twitter. Soon, many Twitter users criticised the video heavily and said called Khan Sir Islamophobic.

Eventually, the controversy got divided into two groups, with those in favour of the online teacher and those against him.

The controversy then took a different turn as uninitiated netizens started looking up for more information on Khan Sir. Some said that his original name is Amit Singh and there were many who said his name is Faizal Khan. As a result, both the names started trending on Twitter.

As more and more netizens shared their opinions, the controversy triggered many theories in the past few days.

On Wednesday, the man himself shared a new video on his channel, where he issued a full clarification about his name and on the comments he had made earlier.

At the start of the video, he goes on talk about all the misinformation floating around his name. He says his name is not 'Khan Sir', adding that 'Khan' cannot be anyone's first name. 

He then goes on to say that he has never revealed his real name ever since he started his YouTube channel.

The video has already garnered over 4.68 lakh views with many praising the teacher for issuing a clarification.
